DELTA begins roadway patching repairs in Cartagena
On Thursday 28th August (2014), repairs on close to hundred defects in the surfaces of the municipal roadways began, and will continue over the coming weeks. The company managing this contract, Delta, Ingeniería, Infraestructuras y Servicios, S.L., is responsible for handling the citizen reports that have been registered over the last six months.
Their task began this morning with resolving the first reports. For this, the Councillor for Urbanism and Infrastructure, Francisco Espejo, has grouped the hundred or so current reports by area to achieve better operability. They exist for cities, neighbourhoods and councils.
This morning, the work began in the city, more specifically with the streets Ramón y Cajal and Jorge Juan, Pedro Díaz and Ponferrada, in the Urbanization San Francisco Javier. Tomorrow the works will focus on San Antón.
The Councillor for Infrastructure has reminded people that there are communication channels open 24 hours a day so residents can report defects in road surfaces.
The reports will be attended to as the work programme allows, and will be grouped by area to capitalize on journeys to different areas.
